Tenacity to encounter situations and be able to grasp the conversation with its delivered meaning and desired intention, to compensate for an individual changing their circumstances would mean a change to the re-established bandwagon mentality.  

When an individual is incapable of thinking for themselves they search for answers from those who have been engaged in conversations regarding similar circumstances some privy to a world view and some trapped by location. Sending the conversation along with the most pacifist of paths, not willing to engage as most of which could be returned to hear-say. Especially considering the depreciative transmission of conversation along with all of its embellishments.
